Dr. Dufresne is a bold and compassionate minister, international speaker and noted prophet, who has more than 30 years of experience in the ministry. Jesus taught Dr. Dufresne about the healing ministry and has placed a tangible healing anointing in his hands. He is known for a strong healing ministry in our day, as deaf ears are opened, the blind see, twisted limbs are made whole, tumors disappear, souls are saved and people are filled with the Holy Ghost. Mrs. Dufresne held the title of Miss Oklahoma and runner-up to MIss America, but desiring more than natural success, she began to develop a personal fellowship with God, and from that time forward her life changed. She now pastors World Harvest Church in Murrieta, California, and periodically travels and ministers with her husband. She has written numberous books and a BIble coorespondence course for those in prison.

Membership Class:: Sunday, August 15, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Are you new to Light of the World and interested in becoming a memeber of our church? Then come attend our memebership class! In this class you'll learn about the vision of our church and the heart of our Pastors, taught by Assistant Pastor Francis Newell. After the class, Pastors Greg and Debbie will join us for a light lunch. Childcare is provided for infants and children through 6th grade. There is no charge for lunch or childcare; however, pre-registration is required.

VBS "FaithWorks":: Wednesdays, July 14 - August 4, 7 - 9 pm
VBS is one of the most exciting times of the year in children's ministry! If you have children ages 3-12 bring them to church where they will learn about how to use their faith through the Word of God. In all of our services, we have awesome praise and worship, exciting teaching from the Word, and tons of games for the kids to play! There will also be lots of points and prizes to be given away! FaithWorks t-shirts are avilable for purchase for only $13.

1st - 6th Grade Lock-In:: Friday - Saturday, July 30 - 31, 5:45 pm - 6:00 am
Get ready for the 1st - 6th grade lock-in! We will meet at the church (use door I) and go from there. Cost is only $15 which includes dinner, breakfast and entrance fees to our activities (swimming and skating). We will be having a BLAST staying up late and hanging out with friends. Feel free to invite some friends who don't normally come to KidsZone. This would be a great time for them to get to know some new friends at church. Please sign up, pay and sign a release form at the Info Center by Wednesday, July 28.

The Summit Canoe Trip:: Friday - Sunday, July 30 - August 1
Singled and married young adults ages 18-29, get your tent and all of your camping supplies and let's go on a canoe trip! We are headed to Tyler Bend in St. Joe, Arkansas. This will be a great way to meet new friends of like faith and have fun in the process. The cost is $69 for your camping site and canoeing for two days! Get more details and sign up at the Info Center. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, July 28. You will not want to miss this epic adventure!

The Spectrum's Great All-Nighter:: Friday - Saturday, August 6-7, 6 pm - 7 am
This year's Great All-Nighter is going to be a blast! The cost is only $30 which includes pizza, bowling, putt-putt, snacks, slip & slide, swimming, scavenger hunt, breakfast and much more! Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel. Sign up and pay by Wednesday, August 4 at the Info Center or youth building.

The Summit Breakfast & Hang Out: Sundays, 9:15 am, Summit Room
If you're 18-30 come join the rest of the young adults for breakfast before every Sunday morning service! We'll hang out in the young adult's newly remodeled Summit Room next to the gym.

Church Prayer
Light of the World is founded upon the Word and the Spirit. Join us as we bright the Word and our supply of the spirit before the Lord in prayer for our church, city, nation and the world. Childcare is available.

Ladies Prayer & Praise:: First and Third Thursdays, 10:00 am
Ladies, we are taking ground for the Lord during these powerful times of prayer. Join us aswe come boldy to the throne of grace in prayer and praise on behalf of our families and children everywhere. Childcare for nursery and preschool children is available. Please register your children at the Information Center if you need childcare.

Men's Basketball :: Tuesday Nights, 8:00 - 10:00 pm
Men 16 and older are welcome to come enjoy friendly pick-up games of basketball in the LOTW gym. There is no cost to play but signing up at the Information Center is required.
